BANNOCKBURN, Ill., USA, February 24, 2017 — In recognition of her significant contributions of time, talent and ongoing leadership in IPC and the electronics industry, long-time IPC volunteer, Debbie Wade, Advanced Rework Technology, was presented with an IPC President’s Award at IPC APEX EXPO 2017.

Wade was recognized for her contributions to IPC standards, training committees and training and certification programs for nearly 15 years. She is a Master IPC Trainer for J-STD-001 and J-STD-001SP, IPC-A-600, IPC-A-610, IPC-A-620 and IPC-7711/21.

When not leading classroom training and certification, Wade has lent her expertise in fabrication, assembly, board process and acceptance to 33 IPC technical committees, and helms six of those 33 including European technical training committees for J-STD-001, IPC-A-600, IPC-A-610 and IPC-A-620.

“IPC and the entire electronics industry are fortunate to have Debbie volunteer her time and expertise,” said John Mitchell, IPC president and CEO. “Her work has enriched both the industry and IPC and we are thankful for her dedication and hard work.”
