Europlacer Americas announces that is has successfully installed an IINEO-II placement platform at PPI/Time Zero of Fairfield New Jersey and an IICO placement platform plus Europlacer EP710 Screen Printer at PPI/Time Zero’s New England Facility.

The New Jersey IINEO-II installation delivers extensive capability. The New England installation is a second line productivity solution.

In addition to New Jersey and New England, PPI/Time Zero has facilities in Virginia. The company focuses on servicing the Military, Aerospace, Medical, Industrial Control and Instrumentation markets. In New England, PPI/Time Zero is moving to a fully modernized new facility in Norwood, Massachusetts in April of 2017. The second Europlacer line is a strategic acquisition to support anticipated growth in the focus market for the Greater Boston area – medical device manufacturing.

Dan Amiralian, General Manager of New England Operations for PPI/Time Zero, reports that his experience with Europlacer has been entirely positive over the last five years, with top notch service and equipment that has never let him down. “By having two of our facilities running the Europlacer platform, it provides us with a robust business continuity plan,” he says, adding: “When evaluating the options for our New Jersey facility, it became obvious that the Europlacer was the right fit and will enhance our ability to perform rapid changeovers and substantially increase throughput.”

Chris Merow, Europlacer Americas’ National Sales Manager, is delighted by PPI/Time Zero’s decision to select Europlacer’s flagship IINEO-II platform and excited by the prospect of duplicating the five years of success at the customer’s New England site. “PPI/Time Zero selected a comprehensive machine configuration for its New Jersey site that includes integrated electrical test, a suite of hardware and software tools to enable rapid changeover, and intelligent technology to deliver the highest first-pass yields,” says Merow. “It’s a great investment choice that clearly demonstrates the company’s commitment to strengthening its competitive advantage in the market.”

Both companies recognise this latest round of equipment acquisitions as a deepening of the ties between PPI/Time Zero and Europlacer that forge an even stronger partnership for years to come.
