TAIPEI -- Foxconn Electronics reported its first-ever full-year revenue drop for fiscal 2016, saying consolidated revenues fell 2.8% year-over-year.

For the year, consolidated revenues were still staggering: NT$4.36 trillion ($136.3 billion).

Fourth-quarter consolidated revenues were NT$1.4 trillion ($43.8 billion), up 30.6% sequentially and down 1.95% from a year ago. For the month, Foxconn reported NT$449.6 billion ($14.1 billion) in consolidated revenues, down 6.45% sequentially and up 9.8% from 2015.

Despite the drop, the company is in no danger of losing its spot as the world's largest ODM/EMS, however. Its fourth-quarter revenues alone were more than runnerup Pegatron's full-year revenues.
