MARION, IA – Timberline Manufacturing plans to double its production space here and add 56 employees within the next three years to add to its current staff of 165. The company expects to spend $12.8 million on the project.

The firm plans to build an 85,000 sq. ft. production space adjacent to its current headquarters. A future addition of 13,500 sq. ft. is planned, if necessary, according to reports.

Timberline makes PCB assemblies, control panels and wire harnesses for companies including Rockwell Collins.

If Timberline moves forward with plans, construction could start in April and is projected for an end-of-year completion.
