SIEVI, FINLAND -- Scanfil today reported fourth-quarter sales of 49.6 million euros ($56.2 million), up 9.3% from a year ago. 

The operating profit was up 32% to 3.3 million euros. 

The EMS company said it expects sales to rise 2 to 8% in 2015, and the operating profit before one-time items is expected to be 13 million to 17 million euros. It added that this year would be marked by slightly lower revenue in the first half, particularly in the second quarter, followed by a rebound.
