Siplace Material Tower automated storage system for SMT-specific materials management applications comes in two sizes and is fully integrated with Siplace Material Manager software. Is said to provide inventory transparency, and is ideal for kitting areas or for kanban processes directly on the line. “Large” version is 1,560 x 1,070 x 2,500mm and holds up to 932 component reels in widths ranging from 8 to 72mm and diameters ranging from 7" to 15". "Small” version is 1,110 x 1,070 x 2,500mm large and holds up to 612 reels. Issues requested component reels in 10 sec. or less. Requests can also be triggered automatically by Siplace placement machines or software in the kitting area. Links ERP level with all storage, scheduling and production processes on the shop-floor level.
