The book consists of 160 pages, 10 chapters, illustrated with diagrams and many photographs

The diving manual has just been released by BSAC; it was launched at the Diver Show during October 2002.

The manual takes the reader through the joys of diving, the skills and the equipment required for one of the best sports there is. The text details both the skills that are necessary and the medical implications if you don't follow the correct stages in the learning curve. The book is well illustrated and complements many of the other books and CD-ROM media available to the new and advanced diver.

The manual is ideal for any person considering taking up diving. It would allow anyone to learn the basics and some advanced skills before you take up a training course. Its a fair price and well illustrated. Some divers will say it's a basic book, but as a diver for 20 years there are still things to learn that you may have taken for granted.

If you want to learn about diving, try this book.
