ST. LOUIS – Lockheed Martin’s Radar Systems awarded EMS provider LaBarge Inc. a $1.6 million contract to provide assemblies for the company’s new TPS-79 Multi-Mission Surveillance Radar system.

Production is expected to take place at LaBarge’s Tulsa, OK, facility in the second half of the year.

The TPS-79 MMSR system is a mobile, medium-range, air surveillance radar that provides surface and low-altitude air coverage for military air defense, air traffic control or coastal surveillance missions.
