Valor CEO Shofman Retires Print E-mail

YAVNE, ISRAEL – Ofer Shofman, president and chief executive of Valor Computerized Systems and a founder of the software company, is retiring, the  company said today.

CFO Dan Hoz has been named acting president and CEO.  Shofman cofounded Valor more than 15 years ago and has been president and CEO for six years.

“I had a long and exciting career at Valor,” said Shofman said in a statement. “I had the privilege of watching the company grow, and I strongly believe that it has a prosperous future ahead. I feel that now it’s time to refocus my energy on my family and personal projects.”

Hoz has been CFO for the past five years. Prior to joining Valor, he was CFO of Frontline PCB Solutions, a joint venture of Valor and Orbotech.
