ST. LOUISLaBarge Inc. received an additional $1.5 million in orders from Northrop Grumman to produce electronics assemblies for the AN/ALQ-135 radar jammer system.

LaBarge has worked on the program since 2005. The company expects follow-on orders.

The AN/ALQ-135 is an internally mounted radar countermeasures system designed for the F-15 Eagle fighter aircraft. The jammer is part of the aircraft’s tactical electronic warfare system.

Production on the contract is expected to begin in July and continue through April at LaBarge’s Tulsa facility.
