SMYRNA, GAUP Media Group, parent company of Circuits Assembly and Printed Circuit Design & Fab, announced today that “Unlocking the Myths of Heating Technology: A Practical Tutorial,” a one-hour free Webinar, will be held July 31 at 11 a.m. PDT, 2 p.m. EDT and 6 p.m. GMT.

Presented by OK International, the Webinar is designed to help today’s manufacturers learn to maximize productivity, yield and reliability through effective soldering.

Ed Zamborsky, an OK International regional manager and soldering & APR specialist, will outline best practice in soldering techniques and tools. In particular, Zamborsky will demonstrate the advantages of SmartHeat technology, showing how it delivers precise temperature control without the need for calibration or operator intervention, while eliminating the potential for thermal overshoot.

Registration for the event, which will include a Q&A session and downloadable PDF, is available online at http://www.pcbshows.com/webinars.
