SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ – Effective Sept. 1, Cookson Electronics will increase its prices on alcohol-based chemicals, including Alpha thinners and wave solder fluxes. This price increase is a response to the more than 30% rise in costs for petroleum-derived raw materials incurred since the beginning of the year, the company says. Prices for Alpha water-based chemical products will not change.
