Report: Buffet Considering Spot at BYD’s Table

TAIPEI – Warren Buffett is considering up to a 10% stake in BYD Co. Ltd., a major China-based electronics and auto parts manufacturer. The alleged deal between the fabled investor, the world's second wealthiest person, and the China OEM, is saoid to be complicated by ongoing litigation between BYD and Foxconn, which is claiming the company violated certain trade secrets. BYD supplies to Nokia and Motorola, and is said to be those companies’ second biggest supplier behind Foxconn, according to reports.
