Foate to Replace Nussmaum as Plexus Chairman PDF Print E-mail

NEENAH, WI -- Plexus today announced Dean Foate will replace cofounder John Nussbaum as chairman following his retirement effective Feb. 13, 2013.

Nussbaum has been a member of the Plexus board since 1980, and has served as chairman since his retirement as chief executive in 2002.

Foate, who joined Plexus in 1984, has been Plexus' president and CEO since 2002.

In a press release, Foate said, "On behalf of the Plexus board, our employees and our shareholders, we thank John for his leadership, passion and dedication throughout the past 33 years. John's vision and drive have been essential to the successful evolution of Plexus' strategy and our leadership in the electronic manufacturing services industry. All of us at Plexus sincerely thank John for his many important contributions and wish him the best in his well-earned retirement."
