Foxconn Sets Q4, Annual Sales Marks PDF Print E-mail

TAIPEI -- Foxconn Electronics (Hon Hai) reported December non-consolidated revenues rose 13.9% over last year to NT$360.944 billion ($12.4 billion). 

The world's largest contract electronics assembler's December revenues set a monthly record for the second consecutive period. Sales were up 2.62% sequentially on higher demand for consumer electronics and communications products. Despite an industrywide drop in PC sales, Apple, Foxconn's largest customer, debuted its latest smartphone, the iPhone 5.

Fourth-quarter non-consolidated revenues of were a record NT$988.4 billion. For the year, sales rose 16.1% to NT$3.22 trillion ($111.2 billion), also a record.
