REYNOSA, MEXICO -- Celestica has closed its two factories here and laid off as many as 2,000 workers, according to published reports. Celestica is taking an estimated $55 million in restructuring charges related to the wind-down of its business with RIM. The company hasn't publicly acknowledged the sites are closed, but they have been removed the EMS firm's list of global locations on its website.
