OXFORD, CT -- MIRTEC Corp. reported sales at its North American division rose more than 17% over 2012. “We are very pleased to announce that sales revenue for our North American Division has grown by over 17% with respect to 2012,” said president Brian D’Amico.

D’Amico credited the growth to demand for the inspection OEM's 2D/3D AOI, which combines a high resolution cameras with proprietary digital multi-frequency moiré 3D inspection technology

"An increasing number of OEM and EMS providers are beginning to reevaluate their current AOI and SPI equipment based on advancements within the electronics manufacturing industry. Manufacturers have become ever more selective in purchasing new inspection technology that will add value to their business and provide them with a much needed competitive edge,” said D’Amico. "We are extremely focused upon advancements within the electronics manufacturing industry as well as the ever changing requirements of our valued customers. Our company invests heavily in research and development, persistently focused on using state-of-the-art optics, lighting and laser technology to develop the industry’s most technologically advanced inspection solutions."

MIRTEC also won a CIRCUITS ASSEMBLY NPI Award in 2013.
