TAIPEIHon Hai Group, the parent of Foxconn, expects sales to increase 30% this year to $81.3 billion. 
 
In the U.S., demand for electronics products is expected to be good, according to chairman Terry Gou, as declining housing and auto markets in the U.S. push consumers toward home-based recreation, the Economic Daily reported. However, the effects of the U.S. subprime meltdown remain a question, Gou says.
