Chelmsford, Essex, UK – 09 January 2017 – Pillarhouse International Ltd today announced 2016 has once again proved that Pillarhouse continues to lead the way in the Selective Soldering sector of the electronics assembly market.
Year-end figures show yet another year-on-year increase in shipped equipment with 2016 being a record year. A 10% increase on 2015.
When asked for comments on Pillarhouse International’s performance Nigel Monk, Managing Director, commented “Since developing the first Selective Soldering System in 1993, our commitment to the development of both process and machine features has been key to the consistent growth of the company. Having a worldwide presence, both in Sales and Service, in over 50 countries makes Pillarhouse the leading force in the Selective Soldering market."
Orders received at the end of 2016 and already in 2017 shows no slowdown in the market. Sales Director, David Johnson, said "2016 has demonstrated a massive upturn in sales within the Asia Pacific region. Coupled with our policy of targeting some of the key European markets, by appointing new Distributors, and a resurgence from our US and Mexico operations in recent months, Pillarhouse has enjoyed yet another year of record sales. Indications are that this trend will continue into the first quarter of 2017 based upon our current sales forecast and our clearly defined global expansion policy."
Pillarhouse are attending IPC APEX 2017 and will be demonstrating a fully functioning production line consisting of a 3-cell Fusion and Synchrodex Selective Soldering Systems. These will also be running an implementation of Smart Factory 1.0 (Industry 4.0), with a real-time feedback of production line status.
Pillarhouse will also be launching the Jade Mk IV. The Jade platform is the world's most successful hand load Selective Soldering System, and the Mk IV will add new process features to this industry leading platform.
