July 2017 – MIRTEC, “The Global Leader in Inspection Technology,” today announced the winner of the annual charity event for the Tamar River Sailing Club (TRSC). The overall winner of the annual regatta is awarded a Challenge Shield and trophy, along with a donation to their charity of choice. Trophies also are awarded to the second and third place crews. This year’s first place trophy is Sarah Wilkins at the helm of JEM. She will hold the annual Shield until next year’s regatta.
Sarah will keep a winner’s trophy with second and third trophy’s going to the crews of DUTCH COURAGE and HOBNOB, respectively. Mirtec also gives a £100 charity donation, which this year Sarah has chosen to go to the Mustard Tree Macmillan Cancer and Information Support Centre in Plymouth.
