NASHVILLE – September 2019 – Magnalytix, providing real-time reliability solutions for electronics manufacturing, announces that it will exhibit for the first time at SMTA International from September 24-25, 2019 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL. Magnalytix will debut its flagship OE-200 SIR electrical test tool in booth #108.

The Magnalytix OE-200 is the only surface insulation resistance (SIR) electrical test tool designed for the shop floor. The objective evidence system is placed on the shop floor and measures reliability in real-time, eliminating the time spent waiting for SIR test results to be sent back.  Real-time analytics from the OE-200 allow for real-time and on-time decisions and solutions.

The “plug ‘n play” design allows users to test reliability as needed and compare it to historical test data. Problems are detected and reported immediately allowing for rapid process improvements to minimize scrap and/or rework. The complete real-time analytics and report is delivered immediately while a test is being run, and any deviations from preset, acceptable ranges are communicated via text or email for instant notification.

Magnalytix OE-200 works in conjunction with an environmental temperature-humidity chamber and is designed for detecting, reporting and analyzing data. The OE-200 provides information to assess electrical performance and features an eight-card slot fixture, each with four channels. Magnalytix’s standard and customizable test cards replicate everyday components and devices used in the assembly process. Additionally, the OE-200 delivers the objective evidence required by the new IPC J-STD-001G, AM 1. Other benefits of the OE-200 include virtually unlimited defined test storage capacity, browser-driven software compatible with every WiFi device, and test data monitoring from anywhere that can connect to the internet.
