Leading PCB and EA show sets new participation records

(Hong Kong) The 2019 International Electronics Circuit Exhibition (Shenzhen) – formerly the International Printed Circuit & APEX South China Fair – enjoyed another highly successful year at the Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center, Shenzhen, China, from 4-6 December. Staged under the theme Converging Ideas. Steering Innovation. Navigating Industry., the 18th edition of the Show – jointly organized by the Hong Kong Printed Circuit Association (HKPCA) and the China Printed Circuit Association (CPCA) – featured the latest products and services spanning the whole PCB and EA industry supply chain.

Another Record-Breaking Year
This year’s edition of the long-running event again attracted record numbers of exhibitors – 621 exhibitors from 14 countries & regions, ranging from innovative startups to established industry leaders, took up an unprecedented 3,537 booths.  Anticipating strong demand, the organizers had opened up Hall 9 in addition to the previous year’s Halls 1, 2, and 4 – but even this did not meet the overwhelming demand, and part of Hall 3 was subsequently added to bring the total exhibition area to a massive 68,900 sq.m, covering 5 halls of Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center, China. This enormous Show attracted an equally impressive audience, with a total of 55,350 visits recorded, which increased 14.7% from 2018.

Concurrent Events Add Extra Value for Visitors
In addition to the Show floor, visitors were able to gain further benefit from various concurrent events. The International Technical Conference gathered market specialists to share their valuable insights on the latest market trends and technological developments, giving delegates practical knowledge to boost their future business. A total of 1,877 delegates attended 17 sessions over 3 days, the highest attendance ever. Other concurrent events including Welcome Dinner and Golf Tournament offered delegates valuable networking opportunities to develop new business contacts and exchange ideas and experiences under relaxing environment.

2019 Show was divided into 7 thematic zones, these include Equipment Supplier Pavilion, Smart Automation Pavilion, Green Pavilion, PCB Manufacturer Pavilion, Electronic Assembly Zone, Japan-Korea Pavilion and Materials Supplier Pavilion, covering the latest products and technologies of the whole supply chain in PCB and EA industry. The vibes on the exhibition floor was bustling and the response from exhibitors and visitors were encouraging. They all recognized the Show as the leading trade show and the premium information exchange platform. This year, the new navigation app Show Navi Pin and the Business Matching System were also welcomed by all participants.
