MANCHESTER, UK – To meet the growing demand for Printed Circuit Boards (PCB) assemblies, leading electronics manufacturer, UK Circuits, has made further investments in equipment with their Surface Mount Technology (SMT) assembly line.
UK Circuits anticipate utilising their new reflow oven and unloader equipment to meet rising demands from UK PCB manufacturing; while ensuring they exceed customer expectations for speed, efficiency and quality.
“This investment is a testament to our dedication to innovation and excellence. By incorporating the latest SMT technology, we’re able to stay ahead of the curve and meet the evolving needs of our customers with precision and reliability” says Marc Ellis, Managing Director of UK Circuits.
With a strong focus on quality, UK Circuits has invested heavily in assembly technology and equipment to maintain high production standards.
Their new production line equipment enables flexible head configurations, allowing them to accommodate varying capacities and requirements, whilst handling a wide range of components.
With two of their three production lines now being fully automated, UK Circuits is able to achieve placement speeds of up to 22,000 components per hour per line on PCB’s of up to 1200mm in size.
“We’ve seen an increase in British companies choosing UK electronics manufacturing to ensure supply-chain reliability. Given this rising demand for local manufacturing, we aim to use our latest investment in automated SMT assembly to scale our operations while delivering the even higher standards that customers expect from UK Circuits” adds Marc.
With a 20,000 square-foot state-of-the-art facility and a growing team of over 60 electronics specialists, UK Circuits is one of Britain’s leading contract electronics manufacturers.
Founded in 1997, UK Circuits specialises in the production of both surface-mounted (on Printed Circuit Boards or PCBs) and conventionally assembled (through-the-hole) electronics for over 100 customers with numbers continuing to grow.
“Thanks to the growth we’ve achieved this year, we’ve been able to invest in new equipment, cutting-edge technology and our staff. With the expansion of our assembly line equipment, operated by our expanded team of skilled engineers, we can deliver quality-first manufacturing to new markets, with the capacity to handle even greater quantities in 2025” concludes Marc.
