OOSTERHOUT, THE NETHERLANDS – Vitronics Soltec will relocate volume manufacturing of several product lines from The Netherlands to its facilities in China and the U.S. over the next six to nine months.

The move is a response to the demand for better price-to-performance ratios, the company said.
While moving product manufacturing to other regions, Vitronics said it will invest significantly in its New Product Development/R&D facility in Holland, where the company conducts reflow, wave and selective soldering research.

Selective soldering and the XPM reflow machine lines will be built in North America, while the myReflow line will join the MR series currently built in Suzhou, Vitronics told Circuits Assembly.
