BRUSSELSNovember semiconductor sales in Europe were up 3.2% sequentially with strong performance in microcontrollers and microprocessors.


 

The European Semiconductor Association reported microcontrollers grew 2.9% sequentially, versus a 0.3% drop worldwide, while microprocessors were up 6.2%, versus 0.4% growth worldwide, in November.

Flash memory was up 8% sequentially in Europe.

European semiconductor sales in November totaled $3.53 billion, up 3.2% sequentially but down 2% over last year. Year-to-date, semiconductor sales were up 0.3% over 2004.
