The 3000 and 4000 series autohandlers have undergone improvements, include a speed increase, support for high-density devices, and new input and output media. Teach times and user interaction are said to have been reduced. When teaching multi-socket modules, such as the FX4, only one target device is required to teach all sockets on the programmer site; can validate and adjust previously taught sockets using one target device. Now automates removal of target devices during an-all programmer site teach; uses pick-and-place to extract a target device from the programmer site and place the device into a peripheral destination after teach session has concluded. TS-1500 tray stacker supports low profile and custom trays to accommodate different tray heights. Can select first pocket containing a device of a partially filled input tray; pick-and-place picks the device from this specified location. A diagnostic has been implemented to test the image quality of the Cyber-Optics laser align camera.
