Automated Optical Shaping (AOS) is a laser-based tool for selectively completing missing gold or copper patterns on panels. Laser removes gold and copper selectively; reconstructs pattern shape; fills opens with copper. Accompanying software shows 3D images in color at all angles. Complements Closed Loop Shaping, which removes excess copper without damaging the laminate.
