Flux cover PFS-001 is aqueous, milky liquid used for coating surfaces of component connections.

Withstands gassing with sulphur dioxide; Cu surface of specimen shows no traces of attack. Reportedly ensures good soldering on components difficult to wet. Is compatible with all Emil Otto fluxing agents. If components are mounted immediately after coating, they can be processed directly. With automatic assembly, subsequent drying is necessary. If coated parts are not to be processed immediately but stored, coatings must be dried immediately before storage. A drying time of 15 min. at 120°C is adequate. Storage can take place at room temp. Coated components taken out of storage can be processed without further pre-treatment. Viscosity of flux cover can be adjusted through addition of EO special thinner PFS-V/WB.
