Formula 1400 blast cabinet has been adapted for selective removal of conformal coating from printed circuit boards.

Comes with dust collector bag. Blasting is undertaken with standalone pressure fed pencil blast unit fitted onto external shelf on left-hand side of cabinet. Micro-nozzle propels blast media from single blast pot to selectively remove conformal coating. Blast media depends on type of conformal coating; options include walnut shells, sodium bicarbonate, plastic and wheat starch. Formula ESD version comes equipped with preventative measures to enable safe blasting. ESD-specific features include ionizing air curtain, fixed to inside back wall; provides high-speed laminar sheet of ionized air that washes down over components and floods chamber with ionized air for static neutralization. Handheld air-assisted ionizing gun for localized use neutralizes static charges and removes dust contamination on individual boards. Earth-grounding straps are attached to individual items. Earth-grounding spike is used to protect each item. Is supplied with UV lighting.
