EO-Y-006 A and C fluxes consist of 60% alcohol and 40% water.

Flux EO-Y-006 A has solids content of 1.9 to 2.2%, while C has higher solids content of 3.9 to 4.2%. Reportedly achieve good soldering results due to alcohol-water-based formulation; PCB is clean after using fluxes. Are suitable for use on OPS PCBs. Developed for use in wave and selective soldering. Can also be used for hand and repair soldering, as well as dip soldering. Good soldering properties are evident in penetration and wetting of PCB. The A variant has low solids content of around 2% and was developed for full-tunnel nitrogen applications. C variant was developed for power electronics.
