HARTLEPOOL, UK -- Stadium Group has purchased neighboring electronics manufacturer Zirkon Ltd. in a deal worth $4 million.

Zirkon employs 84 staff and has annual sales of $11.7 million. It has three automated SMT lines in its 78,000 sq. ft. Rugby, Warwickshire, plant.

Stadium Electronics employs 110 workers in Hartlepool and 1400 worldwide. It was not clear whether Zirkon's factory would be shuttered and the programs moved to Stadium Electronics.
