MIGDAL HA'EMEK, ISRAEL -- Flextronics' Israel subsidiary has laid off 200 employees here, according to published reports and confirmed by local management.

The laid-off workers were mostly temporary, reported Globes Online.

Flextronics is the largest electronics manufacturing services provider in Israel, where it operates a 133, 188 sq. ft. manufacturing plant, plus two other offices.
