Data I/O Corp.’s first-quarter revenues in 2009 were $4.4 million, down 29% year-over-year.
The net loss was $464,000, compared with net income of $2.6 million in the same period last year.
Cash from operations rose $1.1 million during the quarter to $14.4 million at the end of March.
Orders from Asia were very weak in January and February but improved in March, when more than 60% of the company’s quarterly Asia business was booked, said Fred Hume, president and CEO. "We are seeing stronger worldwide sales funnels now in the second quarter.”
During the next month Data I/O will introduce and ship its FlashCore III programmers and PS 388 automated programmer.
