SINGAPORE – Electronics manufacturing services provider Venture Corp. reported first-quarter revenue of S$725.5 million, down 22.7% year-over-year.
For the quarter, profit was S$27.6 million, down 51.3% year-over-year.
Cash flow from operations with more than S$101 million. The firm ended the first quarter with S$588.2 million in cash and cash equivalents, up 41.9% compared to the first quarter of 2008. Net cash was S$304 million, up S$111.8 million sequentially.
Revenue from the printing and imaging segment increased 6% year-over-year.
The medical segment registered double-digit growth both sequentially and compared to 2008. In addition, the firm entered the aerospace sector.
