GLENVIEW, IL -- Illinois Tool Works today reported revenues at its Power Systems and Electronics group fell 39.4% year-over-year in the July period.
The conglomerate's second-quarter operating revenue fell 24% overall, with a 21% drop in base revenues and an 8% loss from currency translation. Acquisitions added 5% to revenues, the firm said.ITW forecast third-quarter revenue would be in the range of a sequential drop of 2% to a gain of 4%.
ITW is the parent company of Kester Solder, Speedline Technologies, Vitronics Soltec, Chemtronics and several other leading electronics manufacturing suppliers.
