TAIWAN – Foxconn Electronics (Hon Hai Precision Industry) is denying rumors it would acquire Sony's LCD TV plant in Mexico.

 
Many media sites are reporting speculation that the firm would take over the plant and also receive Sony's LCD TV orders for North America.
 
Foxconn spokesperson Edmund Ding said, while unaware of any such plans, Foxconn would make an announcement if such a move occurs.
