TAIPEIFoxconn Electronics (Hon Hai Precision Industry) reported unconsolidated revenues of $4.99 billion for October, up 8.49% sequentially.

This is the firm’s second highest monthly figure recorded; the highest was in October 2008.
 
Year-to-date, unconsolidated revenues were $35.2 billion, down 6.24% year-over-year.

Sequential growth in October was attributed to PC and consumer electronics businesses.

Market forecasters expect Foxconn’s fourth quarter to benefit from games console and iPhone shipments, as well as new products and e-book reader shipments.
