BEIJING – The value-added output of China's electronics manufacturing industry grew 26.3% year-over-year through February, according to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
The export delivery value of the electronics manufacturing industry was up 27.8% year-over-year, compared to a 19% decline last year.
Electronics manufacturing is climbing on the back of tremendous gains for end-products. For the first two months of 2010, PC output was up 41.3%, cellphones 29.7%, color TVs 68.6%, and LCD TVs 108.9%. IC output rose 93.9%, MIIT said.
