TORONTO -- SMTC will provide Kontron Canada with PCB and module-level assembly manufacturing, the companies said today.

Other terms were not disclosed.

Kontron designs and manufactures embedded computer technology for communication, industrial equipment and medical devices.

Production has begun at SMTC's Chihuahua, Mexico, and Dongguan, China facilities.
