NEENAH, WI -- Plexus is building a design center in Germany, with an expected completion date in the December quarter.

The contract electronics manufacturer also will continue to add capacity in Asia, specifically in Malaysia, China and possibly Thailand.

Europe makes up just 2 to 3% of the EMS firm's revenue, and the design center could help lead to new local programs.

Plexus made the comments at its analyst day. The company also reiterated its expected June quarter revenues of $520 million to $545 million.
