PARIS -- AsteelFlash, the world's 15th largest EMS company, has signed an agreement to expand its production in Tunisia, the company's chief executive said.

The new factory will come online within a year and will double the contract electronics manufacturer's capacity there, founder and CEO Gilles Benhamou told CIRCUITS ASSEMBLY

Forecasts calls for AsteelFlash to double its revenue this year and next in Tunisia as customers move programs west from China.

The company also plans to add 1,500 workers, for a total of 2,500, by 2014.
