WESTLAKE, OH -- Nordson Corp. has combined its Dage and Yestech subsidiaries into a single test and inspection group under the direction of Dage chief executive Stephen Kew.
Under the new structure, Dage, which is based in the UK, will focus on x-ray and bond test products. Carlsbad, CA-based YesTech will concentrate on AOI. Both brands will continue to exist. Dage is the larger of the two subsidiaries; CIRCUITS ASSEMBLY estimates its annual revenues are about twice those of YesTech's.
Nordson did not comment on other management changes, if any.
Nordson acquired Dage in December 2006 and YesTech the following year. At that time, YesTech was developing an x-ray line to complement its traditional software-based camera inspection products.
In a statement, Nordson Advanced Technology Systems senior vice president John Keane said, “The new organizational structure will harmonize Nordson’s x-ray product offering and increase the focus on the individual product lines. We are very excited about this development and look forward to the increased value that we will be able to deliver our customers and shareholders under this new structure.”
