INDIANAPOLIS – From the ashes of Diversified Systems, a new company has sprung featuring many of the core employees.

DivSys International offers electronics manufacturing services and testing. The internal assembly capabilities include SMT and mixed-technology. It will also broker bare boards.

According to Tammie Fish, the new owner, “DivSys will rigorously test and verify anyone we use as a supplier. We test every lot. Our lab guys and engineers are working with them to improve their processes. We can tell [board] suppliers what happened and what they did.”

DivSys currently employs 12 full-time workers and several contractors, many of whom once worked for Diversified Systems, Fish told CIRCUITS ASSEMBLY. Diversified Systems closed this spring after 37 years in business.

Although the new company is not affiliated with Diversified Systems, it is located near the former plant.
