COHOES, NY -- PVA (Precision Valve & Automation) has relocated to a new, 115,000 sq. ft. facility here, where it will perform all manufacturing of its dispensers and valves.
The site, located at One Mustang Drive in Cohoes, is owned by PVA and accommodates all core functions, including a demo room and machine shop.
"The new space comfortably houses PVA's multifunctional staff plus the inclusion of a lab, machine shop, and office space for visitors. The space is designed to facilitate communication and enhance manufacturing, with engineers being a short walk to manufacturing, thus ensuring a superior quality product for customers. In addition, the location allows potential customers to visit, demo the equipment and see the process of building the machines first hand," said Tony Hynes, president and CEO of PVA.
"We're proud that we are fortunate enough to still be manufacturing all of our equipment in the US. This new facility not only allows us to keep manufacturing in NY, but it also allows us to pass on savings to customers," said Hynes. "The advantages this building provides are numerous, it's convenient and comfortable for customers and as the company grows, having all of our staff in one location will give us room to fulfill our strategic initiatives.
The company held an open house yesterday. CIRCUITS ASSEMBLY, which was in attendance, noted several nice touches, including a dedicated customer work room complete with desks (and a coffee maker), and an exercise room for employees.
