WASHINGTON – Danaher Corp. has agreed to acquire Keithley Instruments for approximately $300 million.

Keithley’ board has approved the purchase. The acquisition is subject to customary closing conditions.

Keithley designs and manufactures electronic instruments and systems for electronics manufacturers and academic institutions.

Danaher designs and manufactures products and services for professional, medical, industrial, and commercial customers.
