NEWARK, NY -- IEC Electronics has promoted Jeffrey T. Schlarbaum to president, one of two executive promotions the hard-charging EMS firm made this month.
The contract electronics assembler also named Donald S. Doody executive vice president.
IEC chairman and chief executive Barry Gilbert said, "2010 was an excellent year with large increases in sales, earnings growth and market share. These promotions are in recognition of their contributions to the success of our company and, perhaps more importantly, reflect our confidence in their abilities to help drive IEC's future growth.
Since May 2008, Schlarbaum has been executive vice president and president of IEC Contract Manufacturing, and has held roles as VP of sales and marketing since coming to IEC from Plexus six years ago.
Doody joined IEC team in 2004 as vice president of operations, after holding management positions at GE, Micron Custom Manufacturing Services and Plexus.
