ELKHART, IN -- Top 40 EMS company CTS Corp. is expanding its operations in Matamoros, Mexico due to growing demand for low cost North American assembly.

The company said its new, 55,000 sq. ft. dedicated EMS facility be fully operational by the first quarter 2011.

The site will offer printed circuit board and box-build assembly, conformal coating and BGA rework, test engineering (in-circuit and functional test ),and test simulation. The site will direct ship from Mexico for the first time to CTS’ customers’ end-customers.

The company currently has a 51,000 sq. ft. EMS site in Matamoras.

The  electronics manufacturing services provider is ranked 37th worldwide in the CIRCUITS ASSEMBLY Top 50.
