LOWELL, MA -- Segue Manufacturing Services has acquired Sanbor Interconnect's plant in Xiamen, China. Terms were not disclosed.

The acquisition includes a 55,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility in Xiamen, China, and an engineering and sales office in Allentown, PA.

The newly named Segue Asia offers lower-cost electronics assembly, while Segue performs cable final assembly at its factory in Lowell, MA, outside Boston.

The Xiamen factory has experience in medical device, aviation, professional sound system and data communication assembly, according to Segue.
