DARMSTADT, GERMANY -- Plexus will set up a design and engineering center here as part of the EMS company's expansion into the EMEA region.
The 15,000 sq. ft. Darmstadt Design Center is expected to be operational in March.
In a press release, Steve Frisch, regional president -- EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa), said, "We are committed to expanding our presence in the EMEA region to enable us to meet our longer-term growth goals. The opening of our design center in Darmstadt is in alignment with our EMEA growth strategy, and it represents another significant milestone for Plexus as we continue to expand our global Engineering Solutions capabilities."
Darmstadt will become Plexus' sixth dedicated design center.
In Europe, Plexus has engineering groups in Livingston, Scotland, and manufacturing sites in Scotland and Romania.
