ARAB, ALABAMA – EMS firm Current Circuits has merged with metal fab company Patterson Machines.

As of Nov. 1, the companies shed their names to become PMI Technologies.

PMI Technologies hired 23 additional staff members, and CEO Eric Loadman hopes to add an additional 50 to 60 employees by mid-year 2011, for a total of 130.

The merged firm is expanding its mechanical, machining, electronic and warehousing capabilities.
